Aloe Blacc本名Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III，是一个来自美国洛杉矶的灵魂歌手、说唱歌手。1995年，他在一个叫做Emanon的地下说唱组合开始了自己的音乐生涯，2003年开始单飞发展并发行了两张EP。2006年，Aloe Blacc推出了自己的首张个人专辑《Shine Through》，其中大部分歌曲由他自己制作完成，而 Oh No和Madlib也贡献了部分伴奏。Aloe Blacc的第二张专辑《Good Things》于2010年发表，其中的单曲I Need A Dollar被美剧《How to Make it in America》(如何在美国成功)选为主题曲，2013年的销量达到百万。他的最新单曲The Man一经发布便登上了英国单曲榜的冠军。
